.DISCUSSION...

KEY MESSAGES:

 - A few showers possible early to mid Monday morning with weak
   cold front passage.

 - Slow warm up to the 80s for highs by mid week.

WEATHER PATTERN OVERVIEW:

Cold front moving through overnight looks a little stronger than
before, with northeastern and eastern zones potentially seeing a
few showers from early to mid morning Monday. Not much QPF is
expected, mainly a trace to a couple hundredths, if anything.
Temperatures will be at or a couple degrees cooler than today`s
readings on Monday.

By Tuesday a strong ridge moves in and bumps our temperatures as
much as 15 to 20 degrees above season normal by Wednesday. By
Thursday the ridge begins to shift east as a Pacific Northwest
trough moves onshore. At this time it looks to be pretty dry with
little to nothing in the way of rainfall, however cool air
advection behind the trough may bring our temperatures back closer
to seasonal average by next weekend.

FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS:

High confidence in warming trend.

Low to medium confidence on early morning shower chances, but
confidence is high on QPF amounts should a shower occur.

Low confidence on temperatures late in the week, bit of a spread
in the ensembles on how much of a cooldown is forthcoming.
