Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northeast Montana
National Weather Service Glasgow MT
220 AM MDT Thu Jun 6 2024

.DISCUSSION...

A northwest to southeast tight pressure gradient will result in
northwest winds, with the strongest gusts (30-35 mph) remaining closer
to the North Dakota/International Border region this afternoon.
This pressure gradient weakens overnight as a cold front moves along
the International Border region Friday morning, bringing
that area 20% chances of showers, with a low probability of
wetting rain (<20% chance) through Friday night. Green fuels will
limit elevated fire weather conditions through at least the
weekend.
