This is the regional weather summary for the eastern two-thirds
of Montana, southern Saskatchewan, and western North Dakota.

Today, light rain showers will develop across north central and
southeast montana in the morning and then give way to more
scattered severe thunderstorms through the afternoon and evening
hours. Some storms could contain large hail or damaging winds in
the late afternoon across Montana. Expect high temperatures to
range from the upper 60s in the north to the lower 80s over the
High Plains of Montana.

Tonight, Strong to severe thunderstorm activity in the evening across
the region will clear out from southwest to northeast early
Morning Saturday. Some storms could contain large hail or damaging
winds in the early evening across Montana. Lows will stretch from
the upper 40s in the northwest to the upper 50s in the southeast.

Saturday, a few isolated showers and thunderstorms will linger
across far northeast montana and western North Dakota while most
other locations will remain dry. Highs will span the mid 70s in
the north to the mid 80s in the south.
