This is the regional weather summary for the eastern two-thirds
of Montana, southern Saskatchewan, and western North Dakota.

A slow moving trough will move into the area bringing a cold
front with it. This front will produce a chance for strong to
severe thunderstorms this afternoon into the overnight hours.
Periods of rain are expected to continue Wednesday into Thursday
morning as the trough moves across the region.

Today will see rain likely over central Montana with afternoon
thunderstorms developing and moving across eastern Montana. Some
of the storms could be severe with large hail and damaging winds.
Highs will range from the low 70s over central Montana to the low
90s over eastern Montana.

Tonight will see rain likely over central Montana with showers and
thunderstorms over eastern Montana and western North Dakota. Some
of the storms could be severe with large hail and damaging winds.
Lows will be in the 50s.

Wednesday will see rain likely over central Montana, with showers
and thunderstorms more scattered in nature over eastern Montana.
Highs will range from the low 60s over central Montana to the mid
70s over eastern Montana and western North Dakota.
