This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

There is a marginal to slight risk for severe thunderstorms this
evening generally between 6 PM and midnight, mainly north of a
Lexington, Grand Island, Osceola line. The primary severe weather
threats will be hail to the size of quarters and wind gusts to 60
mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

There will be a chance for thunderstorms across portions of the
outlook area each day Monday through Thursday, but primarily
during the evening hours. It is still too early to determine the
severe threat level with these possible thunderstorms, but you can
check back in as we get closer for the latest updates.

Temperatures will climb back well above normal early next week,
especially on Monday with widespread heat index values of 100 to
105 degrees.
