...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN PHELPS...SOUTHEASTERN
GOSPER...NORTHEASTERN FURNAS AND NORTHWESTERN HARLAN COUNTIES THROUGH
1000 PM CDT...

At 922 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Oxford, or 16 miles southwest of Holdrege, moving northeast at 25
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Atlanta around 935 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this storm include Loomis.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
