SMITH...WESTERN OSBORNE...SOUTHEASTERN PHILLIPS...SOUTHEASTERN
FRANKLIN...NORTHWESTERN NUCKOLLS AND SOUTHERN WEBSTER COUNTIES
THROUGH 415 PM CDT...

At 332 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Inavale to near Zurich. Movement was east
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Plainville, Smith Center, Woodston, Athol, Cedar, and Inavale
  around 335 PM CDT.
  Red Cloud and Gaylord around 340 PM CDT.
  Alton, Bellaire, and Codell around 345 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Lebanon, Harlan,
Guide Rock, Natoma and Portis.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
north central Kansas...and south central Nebraska.
