...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN CLAY...NUCKOLLS...YORK...
FILLMORE...WESTERN THAYER AND EASTERN POLK COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM
CDT...

At 509 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Waco to Superior. Movement was northeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Geneva, Fairmont, Shickley, Davenport, Ruskin, Oak, and Nora
  around 515 PM CDT.
  Exeter and Carleton around 520 PM CDT.
  Strang around 525 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Deshler, Bruning,
Milligan, Ohiowa and Belvidere.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 344 and 365.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
north central Kansas...and south central and east central Nebraska.
