...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL HAMILTON AND
SOUTHWESTERN MERRICK COUNTIES THROUGH 300 PM CDT...

At 225 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Phillips, or 10 miles east of Grand Island, moving northeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Chapman around 230 PM CDT.
  Marquette around 235 PM CDT.
  Central City around 245 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this storm include Hordville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
south central and central Nebraska.
