...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN PHELPS...GOSPER AND
DAWSON COUNTIES THROUGH 1100 PM CDT...

At 1020 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Cozad to near Elwood.
Movement was north at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Cozad, Elwood, Willow Island, and Johnson Lake around 1025 PM CDT.
  Lexington around 1040 PM CDT.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 209 and 243.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
south central Nebraska.
