.DISCUSSION...Residual moisture lingering across the region is
keeping the RH`s abnormally high for this time of year. Expect
isolated showers and storms to develop this afternoon over the
higher terrain. The next system brings a return of deep Pacific and
Gulf of Mexico moisture. Expect increased storm coverage Wednesday
with heavy rain and strong thunderstorms possible through Thursday.
Lingering moisture over the region Friday and into the weekend will
lead to afternoon thunderstorms popping over higher terrain while
the lower valleys stay mostly dry.
