.DISCUSSION...Unfortunately conditions over the next few days will
be favorable for rapid fire growth. Winds both afternoons will be
from the Southwest with frequent gusts of 30 to 40 mph. With
humidity in the single digits Red Flag Warnings have been issued
both Sunday and Monday. High Haines index values also suggest plume
dominated fires will be possible. No good news overnight as low
humidity recovery is expected with winds staying out of the South
at 10 mph or greater. All this with zero chance of wetting rainfall
under mostly sunny conditions.
