...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN DOLORES AND EAST
CENTRAL SAN JUAN COUNTIES THROUGH 230 PM MDT...

At 157 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16
miles south of Eastland, or 21 miles east of Blanding, moving north
at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and
         outdoor objects is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern
Dolores and east central San Juan Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
