...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN SAN JUAN AND
CENTRAL LA PLATA COUNTIES THROUGH 1100 AM MDT...

At 1030 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles southwest of Durango, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Durango, La Plata, Tacoma, Mayday, Hesperus, Hermosa, Trimble, Breen,
and Rockwood.

This includes the following highways...
 U.S. Highway 550 in Colorado between mile markers 21 and 53.
 U.S. Highway 160 in Colorado between mile markers 68 and 83.
 Colorado 140 between mile markers 13 and 23.
