...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL GARFIELD AND
CENTRAL RIO BLANCO COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM MDT...

At 449 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles southeast of Meeker, or 34 miles northwest of Glenwood Springs,
moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Meeker and Buford.

This includes the following highways...
 Colorado 13 between mile markers 27 and 47.
 Colorado 64 between mile markers 59 and 73.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
northwestern and west central Colorado.
