...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN MONTROSE COUNTY
THROUGH 445 PM MDT...

At 417 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 18 miles northwest of Nucla to 13 miles north
of Slick Rock. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and
         outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bedrock and Uravan.

This includes the following highways...
 Colorado 90 between mile markers 16 and 25.
 Colorado 141 between mile markers 65 and 86.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
west central Colorado.
