...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL RIO BLANCO COUNTY
THROUGH 330 PM MDT...

At 256 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 22
miles east of Rangely, or 52 miles southwest of Craig, moving east at
35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and
         outdoor objects is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central Rio
Blanco County.

This includes Colorado 64 between mile markers 51 and 64.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
northwestern Colorado.
