Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

The overnight hours saw showers and storms move east generally
move along and south of Interstate 70 with mostly cloudy skies
across the rest of the region. Temperatures as of two in the
morning ranged from 53 in Flagler, Colorado to 63 in Oakley,
Kansas. Winds were generally from the southeast at 5 to 15 mph.

OUTLOOK... This morning is forecast to start with some dense fog
for parts of Northwest Kansas and Southwest Nebraska. Skies should
then clear for much of the area for a bit with partly cloudy
skies. By mid-afternoon and the evening hours, storms are forecast
to develop near the Colorado border and move east. Storms could be
severe with very large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain that
produces flooding. Storms should end within a few hours of
midnight and leave a mix of clear skies and clouds with lows
generally in the 50`s. Sunday, is forecast to be hot with high
temperatures around 90 and partly cloudy skies. Severe storms will
be possible again during the afternoon and evening hours.
