...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN NORTON...EASTERN
RAWLINS...DECATUR...SOUTHERN RED WILLOW AND SOUTHEASTERN HITCHCOCK
COUNTIES THROUGH 315 AM CDT...

At 240 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 10 miles north of Herndon, or 12 miles southeast of
Trenton, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern
Norton, eastern Rawlins, Decatur, southern Red Willow and
southeastern Hitchcock Counties, including the following locations...
Kanona, Traer, and Cedar Bluffs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
