...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN HITCHCOCK AND
NORTHEASTERN DUNDY COUNTIES THROUGH MIDNIGHT MDT/100 AM CDT/...

At 1145 PM MDT/1245 AM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 9 miles south of Wauneta, or 18 miles northwest of
Trenton, moving north at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern
Hitchcock and northeastern Dundy Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Goodland.
