...Strong Southerly Winds Expected Through Early Evening...

An area of strong southerly winds have developed ahead of a slowly
advancing cold front. Before the front arrives, southerly winds
gusting to around 55 mph are expected. These strong winds will
impact Interstate 70 between Burlington and Oakley, resulting in
strong cross winds.

A few plumes of blowing dust are also possible, mainly near open
fields. Visibilities may fall to under a half of a mile in the
immediate vicinity of these fields.

The strong wind gusts should diminish after sunset.
