...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN THOMAS...NORTHWESTERN
SHERIDAN...RAWLINS...SOUTHWESTERN DECATUR AND SOUTHWESTERN HITCHCOCK
COUNTIES THROUGH 900 PM CDT...

At 827 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles southeast of Benkelman to 13 miles
south of Atwood to near Menlo. Movement was northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Atwood, Rexford, and Menlo around 830 PM CDT.
  Ludell around 845 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Selden.

This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 61 and 68.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
southwestern Nebraska. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in
effect until 200 AM CDT for northwestern Kansas...and southwestern
Nebraska.
