...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN RAWLINS...NORTHERN
DECATUR...WESTERN RED WILLOW...HITCHCOCK AND NORTHEASTERN DUNDY
COUNTIES THROUGH 830 PM MDT/930 PM CDT/...

At 755 PM MDT/855 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 5 miles west of Palisade to
14 miles north of Rexford. Movement was northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Trenton, Palisade, and Herndon around 900 PM CDT.
  Culbertson around 915 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Oberlin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT/1000
PM CDT/ for southwestern Nebraska. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also
remains in effect until 100 AM MDT/200 AM CDT/ for northwestern
Kansas...and southwestern Nebraska.
