The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Yuma County in northeastern Colorado...
  Northwestern Kit Carson County in east central Colorado...

* Until 600 PM MDT.

* At 457 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 4 miles southwest of Otis to 4 miles northeast of
  Lindon to 4 miles northwest of Agate, moving southeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
           tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
           roofs, and outbuildings.

* These severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly rural areas of
  southwestern Yuma and northwestern Kit Carson Counties, including
  the following locations... Joes, Abarr, and Heartstrong.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

These thunderstorms are capable of producing all types of severe
weather including extremely large hail, destructive straight line
winds and tornadoes. Move quickly to a safe shelter such as an
interior room, a bathroom, closet or basement.
