...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN RED WILLOW COUNTY...

At 911 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 4 miles north of
McCook, moving northeast at 15 mph.

THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR NORTHWESTERN RED WILLOW COUNTY.

HAZARD...Three inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Trained spotter reports 3.8 inch hail 5 miles southwest of
         McCook at 8:51 PM CDT

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
         Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
         siding, and vehicles.

Locations impacted include...
McCook.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This is a dangerous storm. Prepare immediately for large destructive
hail capable of producing significant damage. People outside should
move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from windows.
