Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin
National Weather Service Green Bay WI
846 PM CDT Thu May 23 2024

From the late afternoon through the middle of the evening,
showers and thunderstorms tracked east across the Fox Valley to
the east-central Wisconsin lakeshore. Some storms produced gusty
winds to 30 mph, but were otherwise garden variety. Another area
of showers developed from Rhinelander to Egg Harbor. These showers
along with the thunderstorms over east-central Wisconsin,
dissipated early this evening.

Mostly clear skies are forecast for the rest of tonight with lows
in the 40s and 50s.

Additional showers and thunderstorms are forecast to overspread
the region on Friday as a cold front and upper-level disturbance
sweep across the Upper Midwest. A few of these storms may become
strong or severe Friday afternoon into early Friday evening,
especially south of Highway 29. Highs on Friday will be in the
middle 60s to lower 70s.
