...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN PORTAGE AND
SOUTHEASTERN MARATHON COUNTIES UNTIL 430 PM CDT...

At 353 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of Mosinee, or 12 miles north of Stevens Point, moving
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Stevens Point, Mosinee, Bevent, Knowlton, Jordan, Rosholt, Peru,
  Shantytown, North Star, Ellis, Polonia, Dewey Marsh Wildlife Area,
  Holt, Rocky Corners, Galloway and Peplin.
