...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of Mecklenburg County in the piedmont of North
  Carolina.

* WHEN...Until 830 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 512 AM EDT, Runoff from heavy rainfall continued to work
    through the watersheds of greater Charlotte early this
    morning.  Lingering areas of isolated nuisance flooding of
    low-lying areas along streams and creeks will continue to
    slowly recede through daybreak.
