...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL SPARTANBURG COUNTY
THROUGH 900 PM EDT...
At 822 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles southwest of Spartanburg, or 4 miles south of Reidville, moving
northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Spartanburg, Woodruff, Cowpens, Roebuck, Pacolet Mills, Reidville,
Moore, Croft State Park, Cedar Springs, and Pacolet.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
