  Southeastern Rowan County in the Piedmont of North Carolina...

* Until 600 PM EDT.

* At 524 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles southeast
  of Salisbury, or near High Rock Lake, moving east at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
           damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  High Rock Lake, Gold Hill, and High Rock.
