A gale center south of Cape Cod continues to bring east to
northeasterly winds through tomorrow across the Gulf of Maine. The
gale weakens and drifts southward by Sunday, but lingers across the
western Atlantic through early next week, keeping seas elevated for
several days as high pressure builds southward across the waters.
