If conditions become unrepresentative, contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION...A low pressure system and front to the northwest has pushed the ridge of high pressure just north of the Laysan and Lisianski area. The front is expected to remain nearly stationary and will keep winds gentle to moderate from the southeast or east through the forecast period. A low pressure system aloft to the southwest of the area will push clouds over Laysan and Lisianski through Tuesday but is not expected to bring significant rainfall. A short period northwest swell from the low pressure system to the northwest is expected to peak on Monday, then decrease slightly on Wednesday. A small, medium period south-southeast to south swell is expected to remain steady through Tuesday before fading to background levels on Wednesday. .TODAY...
