Upper Texas coastal waters from High Island to the Matagorda Ship
Channel out 60 nautical miles including Galveston and Matagorda
Bays.

Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the
average highest 10 percent of the waves.

.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

Tropical Storm Alberto continues to slowly approach the Eastern
Coast of Mexico, and is expected to make landfall late tonight and
Thursday morning. A large wind field still exists and stretches
into the upper Texas coastal waters. With the exception of
Galveston Bay, a Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect over our
coastal waters. Water levels are running 2 to 4 feet above normal
and anticipate some coastal flooding until we pass the high tide
cycle Thursday morning. Small craft should remain in port until
weather conditions start improving later this week.
