...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM PDT FRIDAY...
...EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING
THROUGH FRIDAY, JULY 05...

* WHAT...For the Wind Advisory, northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with
  gusts up to 45 mph. For the Excessive Heat Watch, dangerously hot
  conditions with high temperatures up to 100 possible.

* WHERE...Mojave Desert Slopes.

* WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, until 8 AM PDT Friday. For the
  Excessive Heat Watch, from Tuesday morning through Friday, July 05.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Heat
  related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and
  high humidity events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Areas of blowing dust may briefly reduce
  visiblities.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
