...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL MARIPOSA AND
SOUTHWESTERN TUOLUMNE COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM PDT...

At 356 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Smith Station, or 21 miles southeast of Sonora, moving northeast at
25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central
Mariposa and southwestern Tuolumne Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
