.DISCUSSION...
A hot and dry pattern continues. High pressure building into the
area will keep transport winds and 20 foot winds below 10 mph.
Transport winds will shift from being northeasterly on Friday to
the south on Saturday. Mixing heights will range from 6000 to 8000
feet both days. Relative humidity values will be a bit lower on
Saturday, but still well above 25%.
Fog potential over the next few days: Very little fog if any is
expected tonight or on Saturday.
Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Afternoon relative humidity
values between 35 and 40 percent will keep fire spread concerns at
bay.
