This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected across south central
and southeast Kansas. The strongest storms may produce lightning and
brief heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Scattered storms will be possible Saturday night. A few strong to
severe storms will be possible.

Afternoon heat indices between 100 and 105 degrees are likely for
much of the area Sunday through Wednesday. Some locations may even
see heat index values approach 110 degrees on Tuesday afternoon.

Spotter activation is not anticipated this afternoon or tonight.
