This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

There is a chance for storms this evening for locations generally
west of Interstate 135. The stronger storms will be capable of
producing quarter sized hail and wind gusts up to 65 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Heat index values will be around 100 Thursday afternoon across most
of south central and southeast Kansas.

A few storms will be possible Thursday late afternoon and early
evening for locations along and especially southeast of the Kansas
Turnpike. The stronger storms will be capable of half dollar size
hail along with 60 mph downburst winds.

Better chances for more numerous thunderstorms area-wide will
increase this weekend. Strong to marginally severe storms will be
possible along with locally heavy rainfall.
