In 1958, a violent F4 tornado struck El Dorado. With a track 8 miles long and around 300 yards wide, the twister struck the southwest part of town. The tornado devastated a new subdivision where around 200 homes were destroyed in a 45 block area. The twister killed 15 and injured 50. $$ Auto
