Light rain showers and a few storms moved southeast across eastern
Kansas this afternoon. Afternoon temperatures were in the 70s with
mostly cloudy skies across southern Kansas and mostly sunny skies
in northern parts of Kansas.

A upper level low pressure system will slide slowly southward
across Missouri tonight, with scattered rain showers affecting
far eastern Kansas and Missouri. Meanwhile weak surface high
pressure will build southward from Nebraska into Kansas. Overnight
lows will range from the 40s in Nebraska, to the upper 50s in
central Oklahoma.

Surface high pressure will remain parked over the central plains
on Wednesday with dry weather expected. Daytime highs will be in
the upper 70s to 80s across the Heartland.
