with mostly cloudy skies over the state of Kansas. Predawn

afternoon. Some of the storms could become severe especially
across eastern sections of Kansas into Iowa and northern Missouri.
Daytime highs will range from the 70s in northern Nebraska, to the
upper 80s over central Oklahoma.

Showers and storms are expected to become more numerous tonight as
a cold front pushes southward across the region. The main area of
showers and storms will affect Iowa southward into Missouri, and
eastern sections of Kansas and Oklahoma. Some of the storms could
become severe with large hail and damaging winds as the primary
risk. Overnight lows will range from the cooler low 50s in western
Nebraska, to the mild upper 60s in central Oklahoma.
