...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN LINCOLN...
ELLSWORTH...EASTERN RUSSELL AND NORTHEASTERN BARTON COUNTIES THROUGH
1230 AM CDT...

At 1206 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Luray to near Holyrood. Movement was
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ellsworth, Wilson, Kanopolis, Holyrood, Lucas, Sylvan Grove, Luray,
Dorrance, Lorraine, Wilson State Park, Ellsworth Airport, and Wilson
Lake.

This includes Interstate 70 between Mile Markers 196 and 223.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
central Kansas.
