AM CDT...

At 550 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Neosho Falls to 6 miles north of Fredonia
to 9 miles southwest of Eureka. Movement was southeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Independence, Chanute, Iola, Neodesha, Fredonia, Cherryvale,
Humboldt, Yates Center, Erie, Howard, St. Paul, Thayer, Altoona,
Longton, Elk City, Severy, Buffalo, Fall River, Galesburg, and Elk
Falls.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM CDT for
