The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Woodson County in southeastern Kansas...
  Allen County in southeastern Kansas...

* Until 215 AM CDT.

* At 115 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Colony, or 9
  miles north of Iola, moving southeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Iola, Humboldt, Yates Center, La Harpe, Gas, Moran, Toronto, Neosho
  Falls, Savonburg, Elsmore, Mildred, Bassett, Batesville, Toronto
  Lake, Petrolia, Rose, Cross Timbers State Park, Iola Airport, and
  Piqua.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

If on or near Toronto Lake, get away from the water and move indoors
or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now!  Do not
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.  Severe level winds are
likely to precede any precipitation.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
