* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Chase County in east central Kansas...

* Until 900 PM CDT.

* At 801 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles southeast
  of Burdick, or 11 miles northwest of Strong City, moving southeast
  at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Cottonwood Falls, Strong City, Bazaar, Elmdale, Hymer,
  Saffordville, Tallgrass Prairie, and Tallgrass Prairie Preserve.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
