Waters from Little River Inlet to Murrells Inlet SC from 20 to 40

Waters from Murrells Inlet NC to South Santee River SC from 20 to 40
nm...

At 656 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Bill Perry
Junior Reef, moving south at 10 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Long Bay Terrace and Bill Perry Junior Reef.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes. Boaters should
seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. If caught on
the open water, prepare for deteriorating conditions. Make sure you
and your crew are wearing properly fitted life jackets.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
