.DISCUSSION...

A cold front working through the area will bring a 50-80% chance
of storms from late this afternoon into the overnight hours.
Scattered to numerous severe storms will develop with damaging
winds, large hail, and heavy rainfall being the highest threats.
Winds will shift from southwest to northwest behind the front and
remain out of the north through the end of the week. Hot and humid
conditions will be seen today, with a brief break from the
humidity Friday through Saturday as drier dewpoints filter in
behind the cold front.
