.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop across central
Illinois today...with the greatest areal coverage focusing along
and south of the I-70 corridor this afternoon. The showers will
quickly come to an end by evening as cold front drops through the
region, followed by sunny and dry weather on Thursday. Given light
winds and mixing heights below 5000ft, ventilation rates will
remain poor both days.
