Maximum heat indices this afternoon will again reach the mid and upper 90s. The extended period of hot conditions may be hazardous for sensitive and vulnerable groups. Take necessary precautions. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Hot conditions will continue Saturday with maximum heat indices again in the mid and upper 90s, which could affect vulnerable groups and those with prolonged exposure to the heat. Very hot conditions could materialize on Tuesday with heat indices potentially over 100 degrees. Scattered thunderstorms are expected late Saturday night and Sunday, and again Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday.
