...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Knox,
western Martin and Daviess Counties through 245 AM EDT...

At 155 AM EDT, trained weather spotters reported a strong
thunderstorm near Washington, or 12 miles north of Petersburg, moving
east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Washington, Shoals, Bicknell, Loogootee, Odon, Wheatland, Plainville,
Montgomery, Edwardsport, Crane, Cannelburg, West Boggs Lake, and
Burns City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
